She dropped a fresh track co-written by Charlie Puth, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, and Johan Carlsson called "Small Talk" and it's both catchy and relatable. Perry sings about the up and down emotional journey of meeting someone new, developing romantic feelings for them, and going back to acting like total strangers who just make small talk while pretending the whole relationship never happened to begin with. It's a weird feeling when you know you've been close to someone, but they treat you like they've never met you in their entire life. I think "Small Talk" nails that awkward on again off again romantic vibe both as a song and lyric video. Check it out up above!
