We've entered an exciting new era of space transportation as manned launches from the U.S. are picking up again thanks to Elon Musk's SpaceX.

It has been several months since Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley returned to Earth from the ISS wrapping up the first manned commercial space mission in human history. The duo's Crew Demo-2 mission showed NASA that SpaceX's Dragon Capsule is completely capable of making a trip up to the station and back, paving the way for the recent launch of 4 astronauts as part of the Crew-1 mission. That crew, featuring an astronaut from the Japanese Space Agency plus 3 NASA astronauts, blasted off into orbit Sunday evening and finally docked with the ISS late Monday evening.

My favorite part of Crew-1 so far has been the inclusion of a Baby Yoda plushie that serves as the crew's zero gravity indicator. It's also cool seeing how 4 people can coexist in the Dragon Capsule (theirs is named Resilience thanks to 2020's nonstop insanity) with some room to spare. It actually looks pretty comfy in there.

Check out the Day 1 highlights (Space launch and cruise) and the Day 2 highlights (docking with the International Space Station) below!
