Naya Rivera will never be forgotten.
The 33-year-old actress, who was found dead on July 13 after going missing from Lake Piru in Ventura County on July 8, leaves a legacy that includes being a mother to her 4-year-old son, Josey, countless career accolades, and charitable work with Stand Up to Cancer, GLAAD, The Sunshine Foundation, The Trevor Project, and The Elephant Project.
Most known for her six-year role as Santana Lopez on the beloved Fox series Glee, Naya's career spanned nearly 30 years as she earned her first television role in 1991, appearing on the sitcom The Royal Family. She went on to land roles on The Bernie Mac Show, Devious Maids, and most recently the on-going Youtube Red series Step Up: High Water.
In 2016, Naya became an author, publishing a memoir titled Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up. The memoir came nearly a year after Naya and her husband at the time, actor Ryan Dorsey, welcomed their first child, Josey.
While the beloved actress may be gone, her work and legacy live on.
